Terms and Conditions FOR PRIVATE EVENTS

 

Booking and Deposit: A non-refundable 30% deposit is required to book a Private Paint Party, with the remaining balance due 10 days before the Paint Party. If booking is less than 10 days before the event, the Paint Party balance will be due at booking. Deposit and payment may be remitted easily online on our website or through an invoice. 

Guests: A minimum of 10 Participants are required to book a Private Paint Party. You don't have to have 10 Participants, but you must pay for a minimum of 10 Participants. Please reserve as close to the number of guests that you anticipate at the time of booking, the final guest count is due 5 days before the event. 

Cost: The cost for a Private Paint Party (for Event Options 1-3 (individual, co-create small and co-create large) is 5000 sek for a party of 10 people. If you are a larger party, the cost is 500 sek per additional person. For Event Option 4-6 (paint your pet, self-portrait, rotating portrait) the cost is 6000 sek for a party of 10 people. If you are a larger party, the cost is 600 sek per additional person. This includes step-by-step instruction by a professional artist, aprons, and paint supplies for each painter to create the featured painting. You will also receive non-alcoholic drinks and some snacks. 

Location: Paint Parties are either held at our location/venue at Humlegatan 4 or at the venue the host is providing. 

Your location: The host is responsible for providing the venue and securing all details with the selected venue. The host is to provide all necessary tables and chairs for the Paint Party and ensure they are set-up at least 1 hour prior to the event start time. The host will also be responsible for ensuring Sip and Create has access to the venue at least 1 hour before the event. For travel outside of the Malmö area, please inquire about location, prior to booking as travel fees may be assessed.

Party Time: Party Times are booked in one to three hour sessions. All Parties will start and end on time as specified. Please have your guests arrive 15 minutes before the event. Additional fees (100 SEK every 15 minutes) will be assessed if the host wants to delay the start of the party and it is not completed within session time specified in this contract.

Cancellation Policy:  If the host wishes to cancel, the host will need to submit the cancellation in writing to hello@sipandcreate.se at least 7 days before the Paint Party event. Sip and Create will make every effort to keep the event date as agreed; however Sip and Create reserves all rights in unforeseen circumstances to cancel or postpone the Private Party. In the event this occurs the host will be notified as soon as possible, and all funds and deposits paid will be refunded.

Purpose: This agreement contains the entire understanding between Sip and Create and the Client. It supersedes all prior and simultaneous agreements between the parties. 

Booking Reservation: Upon your signature as Client, Sip and Create will check availability to reserve the date/time above, and will not book another event for that date/time. For this reason, the Deposit is non-refundable, unless the event is canceled in writing as outlined above. The Deposit is to be paid at time of signing the contract and is applied towards the contracted 

Costs: Paint Party total cost (minimum 5000 SEK for up to 10 Participants). Client understands and agrees that the entire balance owed for the Paint Party total cost described in the contract is due 10 days before the day of the event. Client agrees if the balance is not paid by this time, Sip and Create will not hold the event, with a loss of Deposit by Client and no liability to Sip and Create.

Cooperation of Guests and Other Service Providers: The Host/ Client needs to inform Sip and Create 48 hours ahead if there is a change of guests. If the Client is not informing Sip and Create about a reduced number of guests 48 hours before the event or if guests decide not to show up, Sip and Create retains the rights to charge for them.

The Client is responsible for the conduct of the guest and coordination with other service providers as necessary to organize your event as scheduled. The Host/ Client should share the Paint Party schedule with other service providers to make sure that there are no conflicts with times. Sip and Create and its employees will not tolerate verbally or physically abusive or offensive behavior. We don't tolerate any kind of discriminatory behavior of racism, ethics, religious belief or gender roles. 

Unchecked guest conduct that interferes with the Paint Party instruction will seriously affect the quality of experience that Sip and Create strives to provide. If the Client is unable to control the conduct of guests or if the conduct of any event guest damages any of the equipment of Sip and Create, it will result in the early or immediate end of the event and departure of Sip and Create. The Client understands that in such an event, no refund will be given.

Deposit and Payment: The Client agrees that the Deposit is required at the time of signing the contract and the outstanding balance is due 10 days before the Paint Party Event. There is a 200 SEK charge to the Client for payments returned by the bank for any reason. Payment must be remitted online at our website. Link will be provided.

Right of Withdrawal: Sip and Create's discovery of new information, changes, or other factors tending to circumvent its policies could result in its withdrawal. Non cooperation; change of locations, facilities or times available, bad or returned checks, or late payments are examples of contributing factors. Should Sip and Create initiate the withdrawal, all fees and deposits will be returned (except if deposit was in form of returned checks).

Acknowledgement of Client: By checking this box, I, the Client, acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to all terms of this contract. I further acknowledge that I must pay for the minimum number of attendees required and will be charged accordingly. Sip and Create will not be responsible for liability of guest behavior and safety, or safety in relation to the consumption of food or alcohol. My credit card or method of payment will be charged according to this contract.
